I Robbed Meijer!

Best part of it all was that it was totally legal!!!! First let me say that I almost didn't go to the 1 Day Super Saturday sale today because I'm just not feeling well... I don't know if I'm allergic to Indiana, or what it is, but I'm just sneezy and wheezy and everything else that doesn't feel great. Go me!! Well, I went... not alone. I took my beloved husband with me, and we set out to rob Meijer blind. I decided to run a few of the deals, ie: Nabisco/Fruit of the Loom (was Hanes), Pepsi/Jeans, Kellogg's/Backpack and combine with one of the free coupons for Wheat Thins, and save for the $10 for 10 Kellogg's Items Main-In rebate. As I have already done 1 rebate for me, and put 1 in my mother-in-law's name, this one will be put in my grandmother's name. The 2 lovely women in my life who send me their Sunday coupons every week. We also found 2 packages of Lego's (usually priced at $49.99 each) on sale for $24.99 - hiding them away for the boys to get for Christmas. I couldn't get everything into a photo that would fit on the blog, but I have put together a quick spreadsheet to show the damage I did. Note items in yellow were things husband put into the cart... Receipt indicated savings in excess of $264. (Meijer promotions, coupons, and non-coupon savings)

I still feel ill, but I'm proud of the things I was able to provide for my family at a greatly reduced rate.
